The Betrayal of Aeneas
Abstract
The story that Aeneas out of hostility to Priam betrayed Troy to the Greeks, first met in Menecrates of Xanthus, is hinted at already in the Iliad and must have figured in the epic tradition, perhaps in the Ilias Parva.
