Theopompos’ Treatment of Cimon
Abstract
Theopompus fr.90 is rightly attributed; the denunciation of Cimon as a thief probably reflects the story of Cimon’s conviction for bribe-taking, and is not inconsistent with Theopompus’ other references to him.
