Bacchylides’ <i>Ode 7</i> Again
Abstract
That the goddess, daughter of Chronos, to whom the prayer is directed is Hemera, as Jebb thought, is strongly supported by Euripides’ “ancient Time, father of the Days” (Supp. 788).
