Lyric Epigrams in Meleager’s <i>Garland</i>, the <i>Anthologia Palatina</i>, and the <i>Anthologia Planudea</i>
Abstract
The few epigrams in non-elegiac meters that have been attributed to Meleager's Garland reached the Anth.Pal. from other sources instead, and their absence from the Garland probably reflects the expectation of his time that proper epigrams are elegiac.Downloads
