Isaac Vossius’ <i>Sylloge</i> of Greek Technopaegnia

Abstract

Tracing the sources that Vossius (1618–1689) used in compiling his anthology of Greek technopaegnia (Leiden ms. Vossius misc. 13) illuminates both his research methods and the evolution of his dispute with Salmasius.

Guillermo Galán-Vioque, Universidad de Huelva

Associate Professor of Greek Literature  at the University of Huelva since 2004. Previously I was lecturer of Greek at the same University since 1993.
