The Tragedies of Ezekiel

Abstract

The Hellenistic drama Exagoge by Ezekiel, preserved only in fragments, can be seen to conform to classical rules of unity of plot and time if we posit that the quotations derive not from a single play but from a tetralogy, whose contours can be suggested.
